Dear Colleagues,

We would like to express our deep gratitude to all those who have contributed to the organisation and realisation of the 3rd Joint Meeting of the ECTS and IBMS, for making it yet another successful meeting!

Firstly, our thanks goes to the invited faculty of speakers, chairs, reviewers and committee members who contributed much time and effort to help create an exciting and cutting-edge programme highlighting the latest advances in the field of calcified tissues and bone metabolism, addressing basic, translational and clinical research. Once again this was complemented by a programme of exceptionally high quality oral abstracts and poster presentations.
