The European Calcified Tissue Society provides grants and awards to fund research and to assist new investigators with expenses related to their projects.  ECTS grant expenditure exceeds €1,000,000 – continuing our mission to provide funding for research into bone disorders and related topics.

ECTS/Amgen Bone Biology Fellowship - 3-year fellowship programme for any ECTS member clinician or scientist working in the field of bone biology.

ECTS Career Establishment Award - To assist newly appointed faculty members in launching a successful research career.

ECTS Exchange Grants - To enable researchers to spend up to 3 months in a host laboratory to learn a new technique not used in the home laboratory, or medical doctors to attend clinical trials.

ECTS/The Alliance for Better Bone Health Iain T Boyle Award - For scientists who have made significant progress within the field of bone and calcified tissues.

ECTS/Servier Fellowship - This award is given every 2 years to assist with research expenses. Applications are to include details of a preclinical or clinical research project on the pathophysiology of osteoporosis, and related matters.

ECTS PhD Studentship - To assist European PhD students with their research project expenses.

ECTS Postdoctoral Fellowship - To assist European Postdocs with expenses relating to their own research project, which must be relevant to the field of calcified tissues.

ECTS Excellence in Research Lecture - In recognition of outstanding contributions and research in the field of calcified tissues
